It's funny because I spent a whole lot more time designing the other one (UBB) and this one I only bought the URL two weeks ago, from there I researched VB and found it was the one I wanted, found out that my CuttingTheEdge host didn't support what VB needs to run, started looking for a new URL (was thinking of CTEforums.com), stumbled upon TheForumz.com and that it wasn't taken, registered it, found a host to host it, bought VB, learned VB, made the design for TheForumz.com, set it all up..... and here we are. In just a little over two weeks I think.

I think I got a lot of practice so now I can design them faster, since forums are very basic sites. It look me over 5 months to design the look, feel, navigation, and all the images and ideas behind CuttingTheEdge.com (Some idea's haven't even been revealed because I've been so busy.

Do you work for a website? Or do you do this in your spare time? Seems like it takes me forever to learn this type of stuff. I'm really starting to get into Photoshop 6, But I also wanna learn my MS Frontpage 2000 also and on top of that I'm still dabblin' with 3ds Max 4. Buying books helps me out alot, but them vooks are hella expensive. Guess I gotta just stick to it and keep trying.

Well first off, it helps if you work for your parents. :D they give you a lot of time to learn the stuff, because they know that:

A: you will be creating their website
B: you will be paying for their retirement when they are older. ;)

I just stick to it and learn. Probably the hardest thing about it, is having a really nice system (Geforce 3 and a lot of other stuff I wont go into) and not using it for gaming, and spending all my time creating the forums and all. But I figure it's worth it. Plus it's nice to have a nice system for WHEN I do get to play.

As for books I bought a book for Flash and never used it. Most of the things I learn for web designing and gfx design I either just play around until I figure out what I just did, and the biggest part of it is remembering what and how I did it. If you forget YOU JUST WASTED ALL THAT TIME. :(

And finding and bookmarking forums and asking for help is awsome, I never thought it would be soo easy, but with more and more sites having the "email notification" where you don't have to remember to come back to the site, you just get an email when they reply is great. That is one of the things that sorta inspied me to create this site with soo many forums and hopefully some good help ones at that.

People can laugh when I play Quake3 and I suck and get my butt kicked, but when I am driving around in my Porche they wont be laughing very much. ;)

I dont mind people who disagree with what I have to say and are generally assholes.

I definatly disagreed with what Kof had to say when I first joined here but at least he argued with inteligence and made things interesting.

Redeemer however is just annoying, whether its delibarate or he's just a child dosnt matter, he contributes nothing to this forum so you are right - he should be bant.
