Memory, vital to any PC’s function, as of late the consumer market has been inundated with various types of memory, SDR, DDR, RAMBUS, PC133, PC2100… the list goes on; most new PC’s now use the DDR type of memory, and for todays overclockers it is usually the limiting factor.

Recently Corsair announced that they would be selling PC3200 memory modules rated up to 200Mhz @ CAS2. Now obviously as we all know some batches of PC2700 RAM out there are hitting 210mhz+ but also some are only going to 175mhz, you never quite know what you are going to get. This RAM is among the first to guarantee 200mhz CAS-2, meaning once again the limit a system can be taken is pushed further back, so of course when they offered us a sample to have a play with we jumped at the chance.
