Back in high school I drove a black 1985 Audi 5000 Turbo. It had five cylinders, gray leather seats and a transmission that died once a month without fail. When Ahanix agreed to send along their sexy Audi XP Extreme case I felt both excitement and a little bit of fear. Was it going to be as troublesome as my old car? I invited Bain over to lend me a hand with transferring everything and, naturally, to act as scapegoat if something went wrong.
First Impressions:
When lifting the case out of the box I immediately noticed how pleasing to the eye the Audi XP was. Comparing my standard beige box to the Audi XP’s smooth black finish, slick logo and big blue window is like putting a librarian next to a commando. The front of the case sports two USB slots and a firewire input hidden behind a sturdy little access door near the bottom – perfect for plugging in components without having to crawl under the desk.
