StarWraith 3D Games has released another updated demo for Star Wraith 3: Shadows of Orion, bringing their space combat simulation to version 1.2. Threatening to make this the last update for a while, the latest version improves rendering performance and lighting effects, fixes a controller configuration bug, and applies a few other changes.
Version 1.2 is ready for download and offers a few minor improvements. Here are the key updates:
- More HUD graphics are rendered through the 3D pipeline, improving performance.
- Red HUD option reintroduced, uniform design used for all HUD's.
- Enhanced lighting effects
- 3D text legibility improved
- Controller configuration bug fixed
Since no bugs have been reported in the last version, this will probably be the last update for a while. Be sure to join in some multiplayer games this weekend.
