Infogrames is releasing the Shiny Entertainment-developed Enter The Matrix this May on PC, Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2 in conjunction with release of The Matrix Reloaded movie. If the wait is dragging you down, we've got the footage you've been screaming for.
Consider the game Enter the Matrix as a movie experience, the game running parallel to the film, intersecting at key moments, and you'll understand how it works. It's like one almighty movie portrayed in different media - games and celluloid - so you walk out of one scene in the game and right into a scene in the film.
Enter The Matrix focuses on two main characters in the movie, the lithe Niobe and the weapons-expert Ghost, and you choose to play as one of these from the very start.
Both Niobe and Ghost play through an area in a significantly different way to the other. In the Chateau, Niobe starts in the attic whilst Ghost has to battle through the Great Hall, and they then face different challenges and enemies.
The fight sequences need to be impressive especially as the movie is such a spectacular - so what's there in the movie is here - and you can see this in the gameplay sections of the movies below.
