Hot on the heels of the previous release, there is a new patch for Purge, bringing the retail edition of Freeform's online 3D role-playing FPS to version 1.4.3. This release makes the CD copy protection "less strict for great compatibility with most CD drives," and achieves "about 10% overall bandwidth reduction."
The following patch is for the full Purge retail version. You need a clean installation of Purge to apply the patch. Please try the following, if you have problems with the patch:
1. Uninstall Purge.
2. Reboot.
2. Delete everything remaining Purge directory. You may want to keep the files in your "/SAVE" directory if you want to save your Experience Points on Persistence server.
3. Reinstall Purge from the CD.
