Safrosoft has released RoX (http://www.safrosoft.com/rox.php) , a free puzzle game written in Visual Basic using DirectX8 and offering hardware acceleration support.. Hey it's free.. So WTF is it exactly? Here's the dirty details:
RoX is a fast action/puzzle game resembling Boulder-Dash and Supaplex. Original graphics and soundtrack accompanied by mind twisting levels and ultra-smooth gameplay make this game very satisfying, challenging, and entertaining. Did I mention it is absolutely FREE? Why should you bother? For one, we have worked diligently to make sure RoX is as polished as fine jewelry.
