Mike Wilson may be working for Take Two again, but he’d like to get a few things straight: One, the Gathering of Developers no longer exists in its original form; two, he’s not a hardcore gamer; and three, the rumors are true - he’s sired a lovechild. While the latter isn’t as scandalous as it might sound (it’s a documentary about the Burning Man arts festival), his admission about not being a hardcore gamer might raise a few eyebrows, given that he’s partly responsible for unleashing Quake and Max Payne, as well as highly regarded strategy titles like Railroad Tycoon 2 and Tropico, upon the world. Not to worry, as his new position at Take Two’s Gathering label fits hand in glove with his blood hound-like ability to sniff out budding creative talent.
