LAN gaming is becoming more and more popular with gamers, who like the low-lag, friendly environment created by hooking up with fellow gamers and blowing the hell out of each other. With their rise in popularity, many participants have been looking at ways of reducing the size of their system, for easier transportation. One method has been through Shuttle XPC mini PC systems. The other has been the use of LCD monitors. Once the preserve of the rich, they are fast dropping in price and becoming available to most. Although being far more portable than your average CRT, they are still expensive and fragile pieces of equipment that require careful transportation.
