Linksys® corporation founded back in 1988 is a well-known industry leader in the sales of routers, wireless routers, switches, network cards and USB adaptors. They strive to serve the home and small business user with products to make using multiple computers in your environment easier. You do not have to be a computer expert or professional to use their products. The same can be said for their 2-port KVM switch, easy to read owners manual that the newest of computer owners will understand. The whole point behind a KVM switch is to save valuable desktop real estate. If you are like me and a lot of other people today you will end up with more than one computer in your house. But more often than not you are hurting for desktop space and this is where the KVM switch can be a real space saver. A KVM switch can also save you a lot of money on your electric bill.

Closer Look:
The whole point behind a KVM switch is to save desktop real estate. So with this in mind Linksys® built this switch to save space. The unit is very small and compact and can be hidden behind your desk out of your way. I took my tape measure to it and it measures 3” wide by 3” deep by 1” thick. The cables are almost four feet long and plenty long enough if your second tower is close by. The cables are built in so you have to make sure that you can keep your towers close together though.
