What are some of the first things we'll see from this new focus at Marvel?
When we talk to people about what we're trying to do, we use a parallel with our other major core businesses, and those are Publishing, which produces comic books and trade paperbacks; ToyBiz, which is our in-house toys company, which is doing a fantastic job on Marvel products; and then Marvel Studios out west, which has very aggressively been working the Hollywood scene and getting us top-notch partners on the theatrical side. Obviously Spider-Man with Sony has been a tremendous success for us, and the X-Men franchise at Fox has been very successful. The Hulk at Universal is a huge brand as well.
So, this is taking that kind of brand management and expertise, and as somebody who has experience working on licensed content, with my experience at Warner Bros. and DC, and applying that to the video game world. The level of detail in our games and the level of asset sharing between theatrical production and game productions is cause for a higher level of awareness and creative control in our brands.
