F.E.A.R. E3 2004 Gameplay Video Part 2 (Postage Stamp Size)

There were few surprises at this year's E3, but one that did catch us off guard and impress us was F.E.A.R., the new first-person shooter from Monolith Productions. Publisher VU Games released a mysterious screenshot of the game shortly before the show, but that didn't prepare us for the tantalizing demonstration that we saw at E3. F.E.A.R. is genuinely creepy and atmospheric. And now you can see it for yourself, as we're happy to bring you the second part of our exclusive look at the E3 demonstration. In F.E.A.R., you play as a member of the elite First Encounter Assault and Recon commando team. This super secret military unit is tasked to deal with supernatural and paranormal threats; think of it as the military version of The X-Files. The demonstration gives us a glimpse of the game's opening moments: A military installation has been attacked and all contact has been lost. Even worse, an elite Delta Force team dispatched ahead of you hasn't been heard from since, and so it's up to you and your team to determine what's going on.

This game is going to be totally and utterly awesome. The end of the video is awesome.

I like the way the view angles when the player jumps over chairs and kicks enemies. That's a cool innovation IMO. :yes The blood and graphics are sweet too. :uhuh
