Epox 4PCA3+ (Intel 875P Canterwood) Motherboard at Digital-Daily.com
To date, the E7205 Granite Bay chipset has been the best DDR solution for the Pentium4 platform. It's just in this chipset the bottleneck of unbalanced bandwidths in the processor bus and memory bus was eliminated. However, due to its specific character the chipset was aimed at the server segment, and motherboards on its base turned out to be pretty pricey because of the entangled wiring and the 6-layered PCB design.
But recently Intel has released new 800 MHz Quad Pumped bus processors and 875P chipsets aimed at the workstation market (as a replacement to the Granite Bay) and 865P/865PE aimed at the desktop market. That new processors required new chipsets is absolutely evident, since neither E7205 nor i845PE do not feature in the official support for the 800 MHz bus (in fact, this doesn't mean that new processors won't run on older motherboards).
